Terms & Conditions for Amarco Hot Air Balloons

Agreement to Terms

By booking a flight with Amarco Hot Air Balloons, you agree to follow all instructions given by your pilot. All booking requests are subject to availability and weather conditions. In the event of a cancellation due to weather, a full refund will be processed.

Pick-Up and Drop-Off

All estimated pick-up and drop-off times are subject to change due to factors like traffic, road closures, and weather conditions.

Payment Information

Rates are quoted in either USD or Euro. Rates may change at the company’s discretion. Payments are accepted through Visa and MasterCard. Guests under 18 are not permitted to transact on this website. The cardholder should keep transaction records, as any disputes will be governed by Egyptian law. Refunds are issued only through the original payment method.

Passenger Conduct

Amarco reserves the right to refuse service to any passenger whose behavior compromises safety or the enjoyment of others. You agree to respect the pilot’s authority. Any behavior deemed inappropriate may result in removal from the flight, with no refunds given.

Passenger Weight Limit

Weight limits are as follows:

  • Winter (November to April): 125 kg
  • Summer (May to October): 110 kg
    Exceeding these limits will incur additional charges.

Restrictions

The following individuals are unable to fly:

  • Pregnant women
  • Children under 6 years old
  • Individuals over 90 years old
  • Those with serious medical conditions, recent surgeries, or phobias of heights
  • Individuals with chronic pain or disabilities

All passengers must sign a declaration confirming they do not have any of the above conditions.

Inclusions

Your payment includes:

  • Transfers to and from the launch site
  • A balloon flight of approximately 30 to 45 minutes (weather permitting)
  • A flight certificate or gift, depending on the package chosen

Visitor Information

If you’re staying in a Luxor hotel, please provide your hotel name, room number, and contact number for pick-up scheduling.

Pick-up Times:

  • September – November: 04:30 am – 05:30 am
  • December – February: 04:45 am – 05:00 am
  • March – April: 04:40 am – 05:40 am
  • May – August: 03:30 am – 04:30 am

If we cannot reach you by phone the evening before your flight, we will leave a message with your hotel’s reception. If you don’t receive this message by 8:30 pm, please check with your hotel or contact us.

Important Notes

  • Wear comfortable clothing as you will need to climb in and out of the basket.
  • If you arrive late, you will be considered a no-show and will be charged in full.
  • Expect a call the evening before your flight to confirm your pick-up time. If you do not receive communication by 8:30 pm, please reach out to us.

Cancellation Policy

Non-Group Bookings:

  • 48 hours prior to departure: No Cancellation Fee
  • 24 hours prior: 100% Cancellation Fee

Group Bookings (5 or more):

  • 7 days prior: No Cancellation Fee
  • 5 days prior: 50% Cancellation Fee
  • Less than 5 days: 100% Cancellation Fee

Cancellation by Amarco:
If a flight is canceled due to weather and you cannot reschedule, a full refund will be processed within 7-14 days, or you may choose to hold the amount for a future booking.
